Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
To develop a non-invasive fish monitoring method for offshore wind farms (OWFs) and to harmonize single-, and multi-beam measurements of pelagic fish schools. Preliminary data analysis has shown plenty fish schools in and around the OWPs, which could be measured simultaneously by hydroacoustic systems. Different distances between survey transects and wind energy converters will enable an analysis of the fine scale fish distribution inside OWFs.
