Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:

The first purpose of the cruise was the recovery of deployed measurement systems at the research platform FINO3 in the north sea. Specifically a C-POD mooring was deployed and a underwater acoustic recording system was installed. Both systems are located southwest of FINO3, within it's 500 m safety zone. It takes diver to recover the measurement systems. The recovery of the systems was successful. The second purpose was the execution of underwater sound propagation experiments nearby Fehmarn in the Baltic Sea. An AMAR buoy (Autonomous Multichannel Acoustic Recorder) serves as a receiving system. The AMAR buoy was deployed east of the ferry line Rodby-Puttgarden. The research vessel was anchored for the sound propagation experiments. An electric sound source was deployed from the vessel at different distance to the AMAR buoy.
