Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Sampling of about 200 just-settled 0-group plaice per sampling station, in size ranging between 15 and 50 mm with a small 2 m beam trawl with mesh size of 5 * 5 mm towed by a rubber dinghy with a 25 HP outboard motor. The samples are part of a 10-years sampling programme along the European coast from Belgium to Norway with the aim to analyse recuimtment and genetic variability in plaice and to identify the various (sub)populations.
