Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
1) recover the Kiel276-26 mooring and deploy Kiel 276-27 mooring. 2)investigate the water column properties along the two meridional trasects in oder to localize the position of the Azores Front and to understand the changes in biogeochemical properties. The objectives of the cruise P383 from Ponta Delgada to Funchal in April/May 2009 (21.04-04.05.2009) on board R/V Poseidon were: 1) To recover the Kiel276-26 (33?N, 22?W) mooring and to deploy the Kiel276-27 mooring and 2) to investigate the water column properties along the two meridional transects (22?W & 21?W from 31?N to 38?N) in order to localize the position of the Azores Front and to understand the changes in biogeochemical properties.
