Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Experimental trawling for Atlantic salmon post-smolts to : To use a new pelagic trawl in open waters To train and familiarise technical and support staff on the operation and deployment of the trawl for further surveys in 2008 and 2009. To obtain samples of post-smolts for biological and genetic analyses. To relate run timing, timing of migration, swimming speed, growth etc to oceanographic parameters.
