Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
The cruise aimed at studying the spatial distribution of contaminants in the southern part of the Romanian littoral, including Est COnstanta. It consisted in 5 W-E sections, from 44 deg 25 min N to 45 deg 10 min N. The objectives were focused on the assessment for the nutrient emissions (nitrogen and phosphorus) in the Romanian Black Sea marine and coastal area, its effects on water quality and especially on the ecological status,together with distribution of phytoplankton, zooplankton and zoobenthos of the Western Black Sea coastal area. \n
