Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:

A physical oceanogrphy cruise to conduct a hydrography survey of Storfjorden in Svalbard, and to investigate mixing of the West Spitsbergen Current. Main tasks:\n-Service a bottom-mounted RDI ADCP (Storfjorden sill)\n-Standard hydrography section Soerkapp-Vest\n-Hydrography survey of Storfjorden\n-Current, small scale hydrography and dissipation measurements across the West-Spitsbergen continental slope and at Yermak Plateau\n-A short-term mooring deployment/recovery at Yermak Plateau\n-A long-term moored profiler deployment at Yermak Plateau
