Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
I) Pelagic trawl testing\n-Speed measurements in the trawl belly using acoustic current profilers.\n-Test of collecting bag outside the aft trawl belly to study fish escapemen. Development test of proper bag designs.\n-Search for fishable cod/haddock consentration in the pelagic zone.\nII) Degree project. Impact on bottom of ground gear.\n-Performance tests of a new ground gear design made from rubber plates lifted 1-10 cm off bottom with rolling steel bobbing.\n-Evaluation of camera observation method to study impact on bottom habitats of various ground gear desions before and after.
