Investigate the circulation variability of the Labrador Sea in the framework of the BMBF program 'Nordatlantik' Major cruise objectives were to - investigate the upper and deep water pathways, transport and water mass characteristics in the Labrador Sea - continue time series of convection and water mass evolution in the central Labrador Sea - exchange moorings located at about 56?N, 53?N near the Labrador shelf break - measure trace gases as CFC's, Methane and near surface PCO2 content in the Labrador Sea
