Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:

A physical oceanography cruise to study the turbulent mixing of the Storfjorden overflow and that near the critical latitude for lunar semi-diurnal tide. Main tasks: 1) Recover 3 bottom mounted RD-instruments ADCPs. 2) Hydrographic and vessel mounted ADCP measurements in Storfjord, western Barents Sea and West-Spitsbergen. 3) Microstructure (shear, temperature and conductivity) measurements in the above areas.
