Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Workshop sampling cruise in the area of Varna bay and five miles off cape Galata. The objectives of the field trip were: demonstration of on-board routines, practice of sampling procedures and agreement on the pro-forma of sampling record sheets. Macrozoobenthos samples and CTD were colleted at six stations from the typical of the area benthic habitats ' sandy and silty sublittoral sediments.
