Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
The primary objective of this cruise war to collect particulate and dissolved materials for analyses of particulate & dissolved organic carbon (DOC/POC), amino sugars, amino acids, and neutral sugars. Smaples were collected in Niskin bottles with a CTD and rosette. Particulates were collected by filtration an GF/F filters. Raw and filtered water samples were collected for analyses of dissolved materials. Selected samples were ultrafittered for collection of high-and low-molecular weight components. Sediment cores were collected at the BATS station.
