Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Methane supersaturation on the continental shelf off Spitsbergen : sources, modifaction in the marine carbon cycle, and record in biogenic carbonates -source and pathways of methane anomalies in the water column -stable carbon isotopic composition of dissolved inorganic carbon and water in the water column and sediment pore water -naturally occurring radionuclides as water mass tracers -biodiversity of mega-epibenthic assemblages and methane seeps -sediments and organic carbon cycling -calcareous microfossil assemblages and their stable isotopic composition as methane proxy Data collection : CTD and Rosette, Multicorer and box corer, Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV)
