- study of particle fluxes in the western Equatorial Atlantic (sediment traps) - reconstruction of water mass transport into the Carribbean during the Quaternary (sediment coring) - ODP preside survey with echographic, seismic and bathymetric investigations of Surinam - micropaleoutological and trace element studies in the western North Atlantic
