Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
In the frame of a training course with students, realized from scientists of the Baltic Sea Research Institute of Warnemunde, daily cruises in the coastal area infront of Warnemunde (monitoring station 41, 42, 43, and 44) were performed with the research vessel "Prof. A. Penck". The aim of the courses were the demonstration of sampling methods and the handling of samples for physical, chemical, and biological investigations. At each day, the cruise started at 8 a.m. and lasted to 5 p.m. 16 students of the Rostock-University, 2-4 scientists and technicians participated at the cruise each day.
