Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:

ESTOC (European Station for Time-Series in the Ocean Canary Islands) is a cooperative project established by four research institutions: Institut fur Meereskunde, Kiel (IFMK) and the Fachbereich Geowissenschaften der Universitat Bremen (UBG) in Germany, and in Spain the Instituto Espa?ol de Oceanografia (IEO) and the Instituto Canario de Ciencias Marinas (ICCM). Observations started in 1994 (Llinas et al., 1994; Neuer and Rueda., 1997) and the objectives are maintained until nowadays. This is the monthly hydrogrhiac cruise, March 1999. Compiled by Thomas J.
