Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:

Within the EU funded MAST III project CANIGO and the German-Spanish observations at the time series station ESTOC (60 n. miles north of Gran Canaria and Tenerife), -to observe and measure the regional and time variability of hydrographic parameters and currents on scales from 20 to 500km and 2h to 1,5a, -to observe and measure fluxes of CO2 between the atmosphere and the ocean, -to observe and measure the flux of particles within the water column using vessel mounted and moored instrumentmenta.
