Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
This leg M32/1 of RV "Meteor" was part of three cruises in the Arabian Sea to investigate the different phases of the monsoon circulation by hydrographic and direct current velocity measurements. Nine Pegasus transponder pairs were deployed for repeated current profile measurements and a major work component of M32/1 was the deployment of 12 moorings and 3 pressure gauges in the north-western Arabian Sea.
