Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:

One of a series of biological oceanography cruises within the framework of "BAMBI" - Baltic Microbial Biology Investigation, fall study: structure and dynamics of the microbial food web and its significance to the Baltic Pelagic System. These studies include primary production and phytoplankton biomass with special emphasis on pico- phytoplankton contribution and composition.
