Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
Data were collected with SIMRAD echo sounder EK400 and Echo Intergrator. Sv (mean volume backscattering strength) and mm deflection were measured per mile in sections which cover totally 3900 miles. Hydrographic data were collected at Northern Aegean Sea using CTD casts. A SBE 9/11 CTD, manufactured by Seabird Electronics, was used for the data collection of pressure, temperature and salinity at all depths from surface to bottom at each station.
