Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
The objectives of this cruise are: -to study the distribution of major hydrophysical and hydrochemical conditions and structure in the Atlantic Ocean and the influence of Mediterranean waters. -distribution of meteorological elements in the near-water layer, as well as hydrological and hydrochemical characteristics in the thermocline layer; -to determine the content of ozone and atmospheric admixtures above the water surface . In terms of synoptic and meso-scale variability, the following goals were set: -to study the disturbance and the stepwise character of vertical profiles of hydrological and hydrochemical elements as a result of the foreign water intrusion.
