Ziel der Reise / Objectives of Cruise:
In the scope of the long-term project Geothermal Metallogenesis East Pacific a third GEOMETEP cruise (SO-26) was carried out. The investigations focused on divergent plate boundaries of the East Pacific and the occurrence, nature and genesis of polymetallic massive sulfides and metalliferous sediments.
